About Modern Base

Hi, I'm Molly — the face behind Modern Base.

I started Modern Base because I genuinely love the behind the scenes of business. The systems, the workflows, the websites... the parts that make everything run smoothly and look good doing it. There is nothing better than watching a small business win, and knowing I had a hand in that.

My background is in communications and media, I started doing VA and online business management work while still at university and never looked back. That was over six years ago. Since then I have worked across a wide range of businesses, platforms, and projects. Every client has taught me something and shaped the way I work today.

What I have learned more than anything is that no two businesses are the same. The support that works for one person won't work for another, which is why Modern Base doesn't do fixed packages or one size fits all approaches. Everything is built around you, how you work, and what your business actually needs right now.

Modern Base works with a small number of clients at a time. That's a deliberate choice. It means when you work with me, you get my full attention. Not a casual team member, not a template, just considered and personalised support from someone who is genuinely invested in your business.
